The march of the SS
No, not the one headed up by the nerdy little fascist guy in comedy specs with the terrible hairstyle, but the.......
Hang about having just looked at a picture of Michael Gove, I guess that I should specify clearly that I'm not referring to Mr Himmler when I speak of the SS, but the dreaded Social Services.
It appears that not agreeing with the local authority results in their "agency partnership policy" results in "information sharing", now to translate that into real English, they apparently have the right to ell their mates gossip, and if this gossip is on headed paper it somehow magickally becomes fact.
I guess that I should make it clear that the juvenile rhyme "Davis" was constructed in order to express my disdain at this practice. Now obviously the individual concerned shall remain nameless as making it clear who he is would be naughty, however as poetry is art and it appears that art is exempt from the law (you only have to look at Sir Elton's "art" collection to learn this) so no names will be mentioned in this post that will identify the unpleasant people responsible.
Being visited by a social worker is not a very nice experience and this becomes even more galling when they sit there and spout a load of old cobblers at you. What is more concerning is the manner in which anything on headed paper from their mates is recorded on record as fact, and any defence that you give in response is recorded as allegations, seems a little unfair to me. Especially when you present them with formal evidence that would convince a court, to which their reaction is akin to showing a vampire sunlight.
Upon request for the information passed to them by their mates, it's like you have just asked to see their bottom, and there is nothing forthcoming despite the DPA suggesting that there should be transparency, despite our MP thinking that this is a terrible thing.
Luckily they are a bit crap under pressure and a few quick well aimed questions usually disclose the majority of the "information" that they are acting upon. In this case it appears to be that I wrote on the interweb that I hope that the person making our lives a misery has a mishap that results in the loss of his penis. Apparently this has been suggested to them that I am somehow a danger to kids. Now despite the statement being less offensive than anything you would hear outside a school at kicking out time (not that I hang about outside schools I might add) it is apparently unacceptable even though the only exposure of it to any kids that I have seen, was when the social worker mentioned it.
The person responsible for this complaint has repeatedly used the local council to propagate his bile as he is mates with the local councillor and is aware that they are supportive of his attacks on myself and my family, and the council are only to happy to oblige by passing this to their mates.
And yes, I hope that his wanger does drop off, I think that wishing him misfortune is acceptable considering that the idiot has been photographing kids outside his window for the last 3 years and reporting anyone who dares to even fart too close to his flat. He has arranged for a CCTV camera to monitor the other residents of the block for months claiming that there was some kind of serious criminal activity occurring, however it has only proven that the only place that this happens is inside his empty little head full of hate.
Some of his past successes are having a bicycle taken away because it wasn't securely locked enough so that he could move it to cause an obstruction, photograph it and report it to his mate at the council. He has also photographed myself and my stepson putting binbags in the bin and reported it as flytipping, and as insane as this sounds, we were presented with a bill for 50 quid by the stupid town hall idiots. His biggest achievement was the CCTV camera, and the following statement that instead of being a fruitless exercise in wasting public funds, it did in fact prevent a serious crime from occurring, I guess this is in the same vein as my magick hat that keeps dragons away, and as I have seen no dragons since wearing it, it clearly works. (If you want to buy one of my magick hats they are very reasonably priced, just let me know your size and send a postal order for 500 quid).
So far from protecting kids, the SS appear to be intent on persecuting them on behalf of the bloke that I obviously won't name, who has made his life a misery for the last three years. But hey, they have to take these reports seriously. Well, except when we report anything, like potential paedophile activity on their property, then they inform the person concerned to remove the offending evidence rather than reporting it to their buddies.
I guess that they are only there to address issues relating to us "plebs" and as we can see those in positions of power are untouchable, if only there was some way we could make our kids just as "untouchable" to them. They do say that you can judge a person by the company they keep, and the world of social workers seem to like our MP, who has chosen to keep to himself that his father worked for the Diocese of Chichester under the former bishop of lewes, and a quick google of "bishop of lewes" will show you what kind of fella he is alleged to be. If you lie down with dogs.......

All of us remember, some of us never learn.
Today is Holocaust Memorial Day, held on this day to remember the liberation of Aushwitz/Birkenau by the Red Army in 45, to learn from the horrors found therein and all subsequent vile acts perpetrated against individuals based on their ethnicity, culture, beliefs and sexuality, and to ensure that we don't repeat this persecution.
I note that Adur's MP, Tim (The Lought) Loughton, has decided to support this true and just cause, Sadly he does this blindly just like all other causes he pretends to crusade for.
Here's what it claims on his lovely website:

“Holocaust Memorial Day is an important opportunity to remember the victims of the Holocaust and subsequent genocides. I encourage all constituents to mark the day and to join members of community in the fight against prejudice and intolerance.”
Karen Pollock MBE, Chief Executive of the Holocaust Educational Trust, said:
“We are proud that Timis supporting Holocaust Memorial Day this year. It is vitally important that we both remember and learn from the appalling events of the Holocaust – as well as ensuring that we continue to challenge all forms of hatred and bigotry.”
Now, on the face of it, this may seem very noble of him. But If you remember that the Holocaust was not only about persecution of the Jews, but also Homosexuals, Gypsies, The Mentally ill, Disabled people and any other group not judged by morons to be "perfect" and "pure", then reading further into his website would lead you to question why he actually signed the book of commitment , when the content of his brain appears geared towards persecution of some of these groups himself.
He has made his thoughts on equal rights for same sex marriage clear in the press of late, claiming that he personally doesn't disagree but his god does, and that they apparently don't want to get married anyway, Well Timmy Boy, I don't want to get married either, but I could if I wanted, and even if only one gay couple want to get married then I will believe that they should also have that right and stand up againt bigots that claim that they shouldn't, whether they claim to be at odds with their god or not.
He claims that Marriage should be "A gift of God in creation, through which husband and wife may know the grace of God", Surely this definition would preclude marriage in any polytheistic religion as well, does he also believe that Hindu's should not be allowed to marry, and as Buddhism and Shinto technically have no defined "god" as such, he should also vote against their rights as well, there are plenty of other examples of why his statement is essentially rubbish available but there's a few of mine to be going on with.
The reason for his claims that nobody has written to him supporting same sex marriage I can only assume is his claim that he only accepts correspondence from his constituents, and will not reply to group emails. One should wonder though, that if he only deals with his own constituents why is he off on jollies around the country visiting youth groups and other projects and organisations that are no longer his responsibility because he was sacked from the post of Childrens Minister, one would wonder also who was paying for these jaunts, I do hope that the taxpayer isn't funding his trips around the country to whore himself to the press and play the poor minister who lost his job for reasons other than being "lazy, incompetent and narcissistic".
He also seems to have appointed himself as some kind of spokesman for mental illness, but has no time for anyone who he views to be even slightly rude. Now people with mental illness can not always present themselves as middle classed Tories, anyone who has dealt with any form of mental illness will tell you that. It's all about emotional control and respect, something that The Lought seems to be completely devoid of. If he doesn't like "mad people" then he shouldn't pretend to care, and I personally believe that his appointement to all of these bodies is purely to present an image rather than a real passion for the subject involved, back to the narcissism then.
Any resident of Adur will be aware of the same old nonsense about Gypsies and Travellers every summer. For someone who claims to have respect for the lessons learned from the Hollocaust Memorial Day and other such organisations, he certainly hides it well every summer when he claims that we are "overrun" and "invaded" by "a wave of anti-social travellers", and that we need to set up special Gypsy hotlines to notify him of "incursions" by the travelling community. His facade crumbles further when you see that he has written this :
I have also made enquiries about the Republic of Ireland’s zero tolerance policy towards travellers despite being subject to EU Human Rights legislation. As soon as I receive it I will forward it to you.
So he clearly thinks that there should be exceptions to the HRA or at least a way of sidestepping them in order to persecute the travelling communities, he has made it clear on more than one occasion that he would rather do away with the HRA altogether, hardly supporting the whole idea of ensuring that persecution of individuals is prevented eh?
Another action that he appears to support heartily is :
"The Council has also taken the decision not to provide them with any facilities given the mess that was made at the Rotary Cricket Ground when the pavilion lavatories were made available."
So ensuring that they have no access to facilities is acceptable is it? Personally having visited public toilets in Adur (not regularly or in any capacity other than to have a wee I might add) I find it hard to understand how one would notice if they were made more unpleasant by the travellers, as they are pretty grim as they are.
He does agree that a dedicated site needs to be found, however the worrying part is that he claims that these sites needs to be "appropriate (though not lavish)" Which sadly brings us full circle to the Holocaust, obviously this is nowhere near the extremes experienced in the past and elsewhere in the world, where people are transported to camps whilst the bigots live in castles, but purposefully placing people in poor conditions and failure to give equal standing to all, in order to ensure their compliance to your wishes whilst you live in a very nice private road in Burgess Hill and insist that the "notorious Human Rights Act" needs to be removed, is the start of a slippery slope.

For the love of Adur
Oh Adur with your skies so blue,
You really are a sight
To behold, a beauteous town,
It's a shame your council's shite.
An odious bunch, a total sham
Bolic gang of fakers.
The only thing that interests them,
Is their own money makers.
Now I understand, the previous verse
Contains a double meaning,
I leave the choice which, up to you,
You probably know their leaning.
They repeat their mantra, time again,
There is to be no mergin'.
But if you believe that kind of crap
You'd believe Jordan is a virgin.
They lie so much, and cheat and steal
why do we not all hate them?
The only question on my lips,
Can we defenestrate them?
The window is the only choice
That we seem to have left,
Take them to the highest floor
Them from the casement heft.
I know that it sounds harsh to do
And there should be other choices
But their heads are wedged, just too far up,
They cannot hear our voices.
They tell us that they're wonderful
And ever so hard workin'
But most of them remind me of
What's hidden 'neath a merkin.
So I'm sorry, my beautiful Adur,
You've really lost your shine,
For those in charge, their politics lie,
In the 30's by the Rhein.

I just wanted to wish a happy new year to all of my detractors.
However narrow minded your views,
Or however misguided you may be.
Possibly you have reasons for being idiots,
Everyone has that right I suppose.
You are probably sitting in your ivory towers
Oblivious to the outside world and
Under the impression that you are right.
A lot of people are
Like you; sad and
Lonely, with no other way to make your sad existences
