If ignorance is bliss, Tim Loughton will never suffer from depression.

I see that Worthing Mental Health Awareness Week, have published their opening ceremony and speech by Tim, not nice and dim.

Another ill informed performance, from Timbo, and further example how he likes to appear to be an authority on everything, when the only thing he is proficient in, is talking "bollocks" fluently.

Nice chins Timmy.
During this "one size fits all" speech with extra "mental health" added at several points, he claimed to have been the shadow minister for mental health, which is complete rubbish, he was nothing of the sort, because the post doesn't exist. Looks like after being overlooked in the reshuffle he has decided to make up some titles for himself that sound important, and after all, us mere plebs would never notice it anyway, would we?

As we have already seen from his previous claims, ...
...poor parenting is the reason for mental disorders. What a surprise that Loughton states that he has a family member who was affected by mental health issues. Does this mean that there are some poor parenting skills in play inside the Loughton camp? Clearly it does, unless of course he's talking "bollocks" again, I did hear that his father has an imaginary friend called Jesus, is that a mental health condition Tim?

Probably the most offensive part of his speech, was his claim about supporting lots of local mental health charities, like Worthing Mind, who told me that they never see him, and he only turns up if there's a press photographer in attendance. He also included "headway" in this part of his speech. Now although headway are a brilliant charity, they are neither local to Worthing, or a mental health charity. Headway do a fantastic job, but that job relates to acquired brain injuries, not mental health conditions. Is Timbo suggesting that the two are somehow linked? I know, and have known many people who are affected by mental health conditions, and none of them are the result of a head injury, (or poor parenting for that matter).

Mental illness is not induced by poor parenting or head injuries you total numpty, you have no right to stand there and spout your rubbish to a fawning crowd (a very tiny crown as it happens), and suggesting that mental illness is a direct result of upbringing or a blow to the head will set back the public understanding of many conditions years, maybe to the same era as most of the other thoughts put forward by the local politicians originate from, so at least you're consistent, consistently wrong, but consistent all the same.

They say it's better to keep your mouth shut and let people think that you're out of touch, than to open it and prove them right.
